Redesigning a private members' sports club in the exclusive garden suburbs of Sydney's north west.
Cheltenham Recreational Club (CRC) is a private members’ sports club in Sydney’s leafy Cheltenham area, established in 1913.
The objectives of the project were twofold: firstly, refresh the spaces, whilst retaining the historical look and feel of the club. And secondly, make the space more functional for its current clientele.
The bar area will be redesigned following a change in liquor licensing, in order to increase the CRC’s revenue by attracting more paying customers for special events such as weddings, large family celebrations and office parties. The look shall reflect the prestige of the club which will soon be welcoming international Real Tennis players.
